Dr JD is very competent in diagnosing and treating a wide range of skin diseases, treating scars, abrasions, and severe acne, as well as boosting skin health through the development of restorative techniques and treatments with FDA-approved premium products.
Practising medicine since 1985 Doctor JD began her career focusing on General Medicine and Gynaecology. Her extensive professional knowledge was instantly recognised when, in 1998, she was offered a seat on a famous regional radio chat show where her audience could call in weekly with medical-related queries.
As part of her commitment to giving back, she established a programme in her clinic for women who lacked the capacity or financial means to seek medical care. Dr JD was the sole funder and administrator of the women's health clinic, which provided a variety of essential services to those in most need.
Being an ardent reader, she published her first book in 2018 after writing as a hobby for several years. It would be the start of a new chapter in her life since she is currently in the midst of producing three additional publications by 2026.
Dr JD chose to transfer into the field of Medical Aesthetics in the early 2000s after becoming increasingly alarmed by the prevalence of substandard and dangerous procedures. Using her decades of experience in medicine, fascination with facial anatomy, and commitment to prioritising her patients' wellbeing, she has achieved remarkable success in the field of Aesthetics.
Dr JD enjoys keeping her medical expertise current by attending numerous industry events and conferences on a regular basis.
