I booked for 5 friends who were part of a larger group on a weekend trip for my birthday. They described it as a 'Fawlty Towers' experience. Very rude receptionist on arrival (she turned out not to be the official receptionist who came later and was lovely) but terrible first impression. Huffed at having to carry 5 (yes 5) towels, and tried to get an instructor who has taught there for over a decade to pay to use a towel. Treatments were good, but conducted in a bedroom several floors away. There isn't really room to lie by the pool. They weren't shown where to go for lunch and had to work it out themselves. The epitome of 'you get what you pay for' in this instance, I'm afraid.
As it was open to the public we were surrounded by children so not very relaxing. Facilities were very tired .
My friend and I had a really relaxing time with some great treatments. The only issue was that the beauticians were running late for the facial we had on the second day
