Chi Clinic is located in a small room within a tanning salon so it can get hot in there, but that aside, it has everything one would need and the experience is a very positive one. The receptionist is courteous and friendly, and the therapist is very good indeed and very knowledgeable. I originally went for deep tissue massage but told the therapist to use whatever therapies at their disposal. We settled on a mix of massage and acupuncture - the latter was a revelation. So good, in fact, that I have continued going after my Wahanda vouchers have been used up.
When attending the Therapy Suite, there was no staff at the desk at 9.30am and I had to wait until 9.50am before the staff came in, and left us waiting with other clients, before i started the massage at 10.10am. The lady giving the massage was great, touching all the pressure points and was good at massaging the hard areas of my body.
I was pleased with the massage but dissappointed that the massage finished 5 mins early despite the massage starting at 10.10am, so I give the masseure a good rating, but will appreciate it if in future staff were at the desk before the start time.
Great massage would recommend for relaxation and destressing. Lovely premises and very friendly people happy to help and make you feel comfortable and at ease. Would go back and try out other treatments
The therapist was fantastic. Before my massages she asked me to stand up and perform a series of movements to asses how my body was functioning and to see if she could see any specific injuries or tightness. She told me she had previously been a doctor in China. I have had many a massage and never before have i had someone so keen to cure specific problems. She gave me exactly the type of massage i needed- at the time i could feel my body relax and my tight aches and pains ease off. I suffer from bad tightness in my legs and she really helped. The place was not luxury at all but it's all about the massage you get and for me it was worth every penny. I've booked in again.
Chi provides a great service- very professional. The session began with a few questions to get an idea of the problems to be treated. The massage was great, got to all the problem areas. Then I had acupuncture afterwards which was really relaxing and that with the massage did wonders for my back! Felt like a new man- definitely recommended!
