Yvi has trained as Holistic Massage and Pregnancy Massage Therapist as well as Baby Massage instructor (ITEC, FTH, CthA and IICT accredited) with the London School of Massage. Understanding each individual as an integrated being her treatments not only incorporate the needs of the body, but also care for the mental-emotional and spiritual body, inspiring a sense of deep relaxation and overall well-being.
Yvi also teaches Yoga, Mindfulness and Meditation which she has been living and practising for for almost twenty years now. Nine formative years she lived, worked and studied at a yoga ashram in India. She relocated to London in 2008, where she has been teaching yoga and meditation until moving on to Hove in spring 2016. To her yoga is a philosophy and a way of life which aids a complete and holistic understanding of the interconnection between body, mind and spirit. Yvi endeavours to let this truth shine through in her classes. Her gentle yet powerful approach of teaching gives the students an opportunity to explore the practices deeply and imply them into their day to day life.
At the yoga ashram in India Yvi completed a one year intensive diploma course in yogic studies in 1999. She received initiation into Sannyas in 2000 thus underlining her commitment to a life style dedicated to yoga and spiritual growth. In 2008 she completed the Yoga Teacher Training at the Atma Centre, Ohio, USA. Since 2010, after being blessed with a wonderful little baby girl, Yvi has also been teaching Pregnancy Yoga. She trained as an accredited pregnancy yoga teacher with the very inspirational womb yoga founder Uma Dinsmore-Tuli.
