Nobody to greet us on arrival. Had to go look for a member of staff. Told to wait at a table and chairs which had dirty cups on it. Taken through to what can only be described as a cupboard with a broken laminate floor. Had facial. Wasn't the best. Girl never explained any of the products. My friend had a better experience in the room next door. Won't be back.

The venue itself is a little shabby round the edges (although the hotel is currently under refurbishment) however I thought for the price the service, location and staff were good. Not the most peaceful or relaxing venue (kids in the pool etc) but staff were lovely and the treatment itself was a real treat.

The spa is a bit tired round the edges but the spa rooms themselves seemed nicer. The showers in the changing room and gym area were in particular need of a refresh. My massage was fine but I was asked about any areas I'd like focus on but then they weren't in the massage. Still pleasant massage. The food as part of the offer was terrible.

Really great lunch, nice spa facilities and not overcrowded. However, the treatments should have been a lot better - mistakes and not attentive.

Got the Morning Booster Spa Experience for myself and my Boyfriend. Staff were very helpful, the spa itself had a very relaxing atmosphere and you could help yourself to tea/coffee and water as needed. Massage was very good also. Only complaint is that the Staff did not seem to be aware of all the voucher deals/if you had prepaid, so was a bit awkward having to prove that I had already paid the full amount. Make sure you have your voucher with you and check if you have already paid or if you have to pay when you go for the treatment. Very small issue, but if it is a gift for someone else you don't want to have to deal with this in front of them!

Really run down spa. Facilities are grotty, was very disappointed with the overall experience. Left straight after treatments as the jacuzzi was full of chemicals that burnt my mum's eyes. Not enough loungers so ended up sitting on a chair by the pool.

Staff were overall great, however, initially on arrival at the spa reception, the person at the desk didn't seem to know what deal and what website I had booked with and asked initially for another £10 for use of the spa facilities, before realising my deal was all inclusive. There wasn't much in the way of direction of where to go, I was pretty much left to find my own way. Other than that, they were reasonably approachable and helpful when asked. The relaxation room was oddly placed whereby you walk past reception and passed a gym/squash court, which on a Saturday was in use a lot. The noise of squeaking trainers and rackets whacking squash balls was very audible in the "relaxation room" and was not the most relaxing. The relaxation room could further benefit from some comfortable loungers and magazines for customers on their own and not in a group. The changing rooms are a bit tired, dated and a bit tatty, the shower with a push button had to be pushed continuously to work. I also regret not taking my own shower products, the products available are not great. The steam/sauna and pool are adequate. The treatments were satisfactory, however the massage was a little disappointing, despite agreeing firm pressure it was nothing like firm. Was still relaxing and enjoyable though. Lunch was very good, service excellent and food delicious.

We were given no information upon arrival, we didn't know what to expect or where to go at what time. It was like the staff assumed we'd been there before. Didn't feel welcome. Felt like we were bothering the staff when we asked questions. Eg. No info about where and when lunch was provided. I waited till 12 then queued up to ask someone at reception (after they'd finished their chat) I didn't feel like a valued customer on a special spa day. Massage was good though.

Took my mum for her birthday. Had a spa deal which included lunch and two treatments each.

Lunch was wonderful, got to choose two courses from a selection of about 4/5 dishes. Staff were very competent and pleasant.

Spa itself needs a bit of updating, cracked tiles etc but overall it did the job.

Massage and facial were bliss, although despite being asked where my back hurt the masseuse didn't focus much on problem area.
