I love Beauty and Melody. The customer service is 10/10. The products amazing! Well done Beauty and Melody :-) Will always recommend you.
I had Sean do half a head of highlights and cut and blow dry. I am so pleased with the colour, best I have had in ages and would definetly visit again. All experience was fantastic, Sean was lovely and very professional and salon has lovely atmosphere.
I normally get my gel nails done by Carolina but have had a try with Eva and she is equally just as talented. She pays extra attention to getting your cuticles perfect and is extra speedy. It's always a pleasure at Beauty and Melody.
Beauty and Melody in my opinion is one of the most beautiful salons in London. I like interiors and impressed with white grand piano. Friendly staff is always makes me feel very welcome. The salon look as it is very expensive, however the prices are not too high. I usually go there for my weekly blow dry and manicure. Always feel refreshed and pampered after visit. My friend goes there as well.
I came into the salon to have half a head of highlights, a treatment, cut and blow dry. I was very unhappy with the result and the level of customer service that I received. I explained very clearly when I arrived that I wanted highlights done and I wanted my hair to be toned down and as ash as possible. The hairdresser kept saying I needed to colour the roots to lighten them up, but I repeatedly said that I always just get highlights and did not want any lift or over all colour put onto my hair. The hairdresser finally said he would just put a toner on, but when the supposed toner was put on my head, my scalp started burning and itching and this usually does not happen when I toner is put on my head after I have highlights. While having my hair cut I started noticing that all my roots had gone a very warm orange colour that was distinctively different to the rest of my hair. The gentleman cutting my hair stopped cutting and went to get the colourist. The colourist looked annoyed and said it would need a toner. Luckily a hairdresser by the name of Shawn then took over. Shawn said that it was a lift and not a toner that was put on my hair and this had bought out warmth through the roots making it a totally different colour to the rest of my hair. This also meant that all the highlights that had been put on could not be seen, making my trip to the hairdresser totally useless. I then had a toner put on for around 20 minutes and then a treatment and Shawn then took me back to the chair to see the results. During this time both the colourist and the hairdresser cutting my hair left. Shawn then had to deal with the result on his own, even though he had nothing to do with what had happened. The cut was unfinished and not checked so Shawn had to finish that off as one side was uneven. The colour had been toned down, but was still very apparent. There was nothing to be done apart from waiting for four weeks and then getting a T section of highlights to try and cover up the mistake. I really think this is unacceptable! I came to the salon because I know the salon use Aveda colours and I thought a certain level of professionalism was required for all salons using Aveda. I still had to pay full price for my visit to the salon and buy a special toning shampoo and I have to wear my hair up every day, so the colour is not noticeable. I also wrote an email asking if a manager coupld contact me, so I could talk about my experience and it has been over a week and I have heard nothing. I would never go back to this salon and would not recommend it to anyone.
