The staff kept telling me other services I needed which didn't make me feel great or relaxed. Cut was very average. Didn't feel like they listened to what I wanted. My fringe wasn't what I asked for at all.

This experience makes me question using wahanda as a whole. I know it's not possible to vet suppliers and services but there should be a standard.

I had a cut, conditioner treatment and blow dry and my experience was very good. The staff are very nice and friendly! I arrived a bit early but was seen straight away. Came away very happy with my cut! Definitely recommend.

This facial was okay and is good value with an amazing massage but the environment and techniques were not that relaxing.

Where do I start! I booked on to this last minute on a Sunday morning. I got to the salon 10 minutes early to find the shutter was down, so I wandered off and came back just after 11am, at which point the shutters were up and I was greeted by a rather flustered lady who clearly wasn't ready for my arrival. She apologised and I wasn't in a rush so it didn't matter too much. She started my appointment at 11.20am and was still a bit frantic. Her English wasn't excellent so I struggled to understand what the issue was but I think she was suggesting that she had another client that had booked through the salon, and that I'd booked in via Wahanda which hadn't updated on their system, and we were both there at the same time but she was by herself. So she started my facial and quickly put on a facemask , then left me for half an hour whilst she tended to this other client. She told me to relax and 'fall asleep'! I don't think a 1 hour facial should include a half an hour nap!? I did fall asleep and when I woke up I could hear her talking quite loudly upstairs, so I came out of the room. There was CCTV in the corridor so I could see her upstairs talking to someone on her phone - I couldn't see another customer. She came back down then put another facemask on and proceeded to leave me for 20 minutes this time. At which point I was bored as the room was dark and there was no music so I was just lying there. Then another member of staff arrived and she did my head massage. This was pleasant enough although the massage table didn't have a hole for my face, so when she asked me to turn over my face was squashed into the table which wasn't very pleasant or relaxing! I should have been there for 90 mins but was there for well over 2 hours after all the waiting and faffing around. All in all not the experience I had hoped for.

hi victoria i am very sad that you have made a negative comment as sunday i was only 3mins late to open the salon (11.03am) and your appointment you had booked with wahanda was at 11am and was not even confirmed when you attended as our working hours are 9.30am- 7pm tuesday to saturdays and sundays 11am- 5pm so these are the only times me or my colleagues can confirm appointment. When you arrived i explained to you that i had another client and so that it is not a waste of travel for you that i would start the treatment and attend the other client during your treatment when your facial was on and you accepted that it would be ok for me to do this. once explaining the situation to you i then confirmed your booking on wahanda. Coming to the statement that you made about not being able to understand me, how was you able to confirm with me and accept what i stated to you? this is not realistic!

Coming to leaving you for 30mins i explained that i have client before i started anything and again you said it was fine. once i finished with the client the business phone rang and i had to pick up and again you knew that i was going to leave you for 30mins as i'm stating again that you accepted because i explained in the beginning.

As a gesture of goodwill and for you to leave happily we under went extra facial for you we took extra time for the indian head massage which is normally 30mins but we carried it on for 45mins giving you 15mins extra for the price you paid. Normally we don't turn you over for the indian head massage however we stated to you that we want you to turn as you will be more relaxed. when it comes to the massage bed the bed does have a face hole and music we always have music in our beauty rooms and a dim light and candles!

although everything was explained to you from the beginning and we under went extra facials and massage it is sad that you have made false statements.

hi victoria we are very sad to hear such comment from you as you was a last minute booking and we wasn't able to accept the booking on the system as the only time we can access the system is during our opening hours and you had just turned up just like that without your appointment confirmation! on the sunday our salon opens at 11am maybe that is why when you came the shutters were down. on arrival i did explain to you that i had a client booked at 11.30am and if i would carry out your treatment i would have to leave you for 30mins to assist to my client and get back to you, this was done in good will to you so it wouldn't be a waste of your travel coming all the way here and leaving without having your treatment. Let me remind you again your appointment wasn't confirmed and you still turned up. I explained all this to you and you accepted to go ahead with the appointment and that is when i accepted you appointment on the wahanda merchant website. coming to starting your appointment at 11.20 we spoke about all this, what i explained in the beginning, this is why it took so long, if you wasn't able to understand me how was it possible for you to accept that it would be ok for me to leave and assist to my client who had booked in advance? this isn't realistic. I applied your facial mask the way a facial would be applied on everyone when you have been doing this job for years you are used to applying facials masks and your applications is quicker but same quality as a person applying the mask any slower. once i applied the mask a stated to you again that i am going to attend to my client and stated you to relax and take a nap if you like, let me explain to you that the facial gets applied and has to wait for at least 15-20 minutes.

i assisted to my client and once i had finished with her i assisted her out and at that point the salon phone rang and i picked up before i got back to you as i was alone in the salon maybe that is why at that point you saw me on the camera. when i came down i took your facemask off and explained to you that i will be putting on another mask as you have dry skin and applied that. once the facials had be applied and removed we carried a head massage which normally is carried out lying on your back but we wanted to give you a more comfortable experience and that is why we asked you to turn over. coming to the treatment bed all our treatment beds have face hole so it is impossible for your face to squash even if there wasn't to be a hole it is impossible for for face to squash we don't pressure the face down. coming to the length of the treatment it took near enough to 2 hours due to us undergoing the extra facial that we never even charged you for and we explained that we are going to do an extra facial in order for you to get a better result from your experience. overall we are very upset to hear all this as all this that you have explained has been explained incorrectly. it is our fault for explaining to you and accepting your appointment when you just turned up without a conformation.

Appointment started 15 minutes late. Staff were not very conscientious and the waxing was very rushed which was reflected in the poor job- Sadly I was left with patches of hair!

They used strip wax instead of Hot wax like I wanted and it left me raw uncomfortable and has meant I've not been able to have a wax for a while. Friendly staff, but treatment not done expertly or worth the money

Very quick (which to be honest I like). Good value for money but not the best wax I've had. It was strip wax and I prefer hot wax (although I'm sure if I'd have put my foot down a bit I could have opted for hot wax).

Fast, and thorough wax. Had a really friendly experience there, the staff were warm and welcoming and will definitely go back in the future!

The lady who owns the salon is very nice, but it's a little down-at-hell and the treatment wasn't great - I was left with patches of hair and only the middle bits were done, not the edges. I wasn't offered a mirror so I couldn't check it for myself until i got home. I'll have to have it done again, and have to live with it because I can't have it done again too soon. As i said, the therapist is lovely, but the service needs professionalising and a bit more care and attention to the finish. Having said that, it was inexpensive, so I suppose ei got what i paid for.

hi deborah we are shocked that you have stated that you had patches of hair left. We under took a chin and upper lip wax for you. The wax room yes doesn't have a mirror however when we took you up to do your eyebrow treading to the main saloon you had looked at the mirror and i did ask you was that ok you stated yes. However if you are stating that you have hair left we are more than happy to have you back here and re do the service free of charge. kind regards

My treatment was quite a bit shorter than it was meant to be. It was not an hour and a half at all. Also the therapist left me alone in the room with the face mask on for about half of the time! She was lovely, very sweet but I have had way better facials than this one. Quite good for the price but I think I will go somewhere else next time.

This place is always fantastic. Super good value for money and quality blow dry. They are also very efficient. This is my go to for a blow-dry.

The service was fantastic and the staff super friendly and helpful. I will definitely be returning here. The therapist was very attentive, noticing details about my skin and giving me skincare advice and information about what she doing and why. I really felt pampered and even got an extra massage that I wasn't expecting. I really do recommend the place and the people! Great experience!!

Pleasant experience. Good trim and nice staff. I arrived at 6:30pm (the time of my appointment) and didn't' have to wait at all. They immediately took me and washed my hair and then trimmed it for me. I have long, straight here so it is always quite a basic cut but they did the long layers nicely and made me a nice cup of tea whilst I had it done. I would go back, very reasonable and pleasant/helpful staff.

I had a pedicure and it was not really what I was expecting. I was in a hard chair, and my feet were in one of those home-spas in cool water, and the pedicure was done on the lady's lap in a hard chair opposite me. There wasn't much colour choice for the polish but the paint was done nicely. The lady doing the pedicure was lovely, it just wasn't what I imagined it would be - saying that, I can't complain about the price!
