Why closer
than ever?

Well, because time apart has made us want to be even closer than before.

How we made
the campaign happen

Creating a Treatwell campaign has always been an incredible way to connect with our community – partners, creatives, customers, and models (who are usually Treatwell users too). It offers an opportunity to shout about hair and beauty businesses bookable on Treatwell who this year, more than ever before, deserve to be celebrated. That's why we were determined to pull off a 2021 campaign, with whatever testing and temperature checks it took to make it happen. As our Closer Than Ever campaign is all about reunions and coming together, we invited five of our salon partners – experts in hair, skin, lashes, brows, wax, and nails – to prep our models for the shoot. everyone was tested, masks were worn, and social distancing rules were adhered to where possible, to make this campaign COVID-safe.

Our models – Anne, Raphaela, Jed, and Vikash – came to Treatwell HQto be manicured, blow-dried, waxed, the lot, in the safest way possible. Were they delighted to be the first clients getting all their hair and beauty treatments done? Obviously. From the production team making cool stuff happen on the day, to the Treatwell creatives art-directing (and managing lunch orders), it was a real welcome back to normality. Of course, everyone was tested, masks were worn, and social distancing rules were adhered to where possible, to make this campaign COVID-safe.

Is it our best campaign yet? Maybe. Are we biased? Probably. But we really believe in coming Closer Than Ever – in spirit, for now – and celebrating every sense of 'community'.
