The reference de jour for alot of shoots I’m doing at the moment is the Sharon Tate from Valley of the Dolls look. I would some it up by describing it as late 60’s - immaculately groomed and glamorous on the surface but very disturbed inside! Ring any bells?

She had great big set hair, false lashes and perfect make up, and of course beige long almond nails which all the fashion editors are loving. Anyway the above shot is a backstage shot by me from a soon to be published shoot I just worked on as manicurist and semi art director, which I think goes perfectly with her style…
